Azure Service Level Agreements are independent of our local microsoft licensing agreements. Our Azure SLAs offer you a monthly operating time guarantee for the services you use in the cloud, with SLA credits compared to what we charged you if we don`t comply with the warranty. While you can create a business agreement with Microsoft specifically for Azure, most companies that use this option already have an EA for using their software resources such as Windows, Office, SharePoint, System Center, etc. If you have an EA for other products, you can simply add Azure to this existing agreement by making a prior financial commitment. Then you can use Azure`s cloud services throughout the year to meet the commitment. And you can pay for additional use beyond the bond at the same rates. Therefore, as with any Enterprise Licensing Agreement (ELA), including AWS EDP, you agree to obtain a contract term and contract volume in order to obtain additional discounts. The enterprise agreement provides legal protection and a business association agreement (BAA) between the University of Michigan and Microsoft. Please note that only subscriptions created under the Microsoft Enterprise agreement and related to faculty and staff are covered by the agreement.
If you purchase an Online Azure support plan, you will be billed for the first month immediately. The monthly amount is billed on the first day of each subsequent billing cycle. Business purchases (EA) follow the billing cycle of the agreement. I have a client with an EA through another partner. You want to delete your partner and switch to Azure CSP. I checked: docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-resource-manager/resource-group-move-resources and this: docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cloud-solution-provider/migration/ea-payg-to-azure-csp/ea-open-direct-assessment For the first publication of this feature, the spending limit is set at $0 and cannot be adjusted. It is designed to allow customers of our free trial offers, MSDN, MPN or BizSpark to use Azure with the certainty that no invoices are charged.
